signs of not eating well

We've heard the saying, "You are what you eat."  And I've lately discovered that it holds to true!  This weekend, because we don't yet have healthy food in our house we've been eating what we have.  Unfortunately I'm still paying the price for what is going in my mouth.   This weekend I've consumed, Creamy White Chicken Chili, veggie Pizza, brownies, oatmeal with fruit, yogurt with fruit, and brownies...some of which isn't so extremely bad, but none of which is raw and alive.  This morning I got up at a decent hour, but just feel exhausted, sick, on the verge of a headache and my muscles ache.  I can hardly walk, I'm seeing my Grandma in me so much and I do not want to be this way the rest of my life!   I have no energy to play with our 6 month old, barely enough strength to get up and down the stairs to do laundry.  My body feels like it's literally been abused.  Abused with refined processed foods.   I'm praying that we'll get to go grocery shopping soon so we can get started on our road to LIFE!

Live foods/Raw fruits and veggies are packed with energy life giving nutrients.  Eating raw foods made such a difference in the way I felt 9 years ago, but unfortunately due to finances and a lack of motivation, we weren't able to keep on it.  This time around, I'm hoping that we have a large enough support system as well as a better knowledge of what is in our food, that it will be a little easier to stick with it.  And hopefully just the feeling WELL will be enough to keep us plugging on.

  1. Support systems are really a blessing! I'm here for you and rooting for you, Emily! I know all too well of starting out and then falling back and not feeling well as a result of it. I am so blessed to know that eating plant strong is the nutritious way to feed the cells that are being replaced every day in our bodies. Knowledge=power.
